Membership Plans

SaveNow Membership is a medical discount program designed to make healthcare more affordable for self-pay and out-of-network patients.

It is not health insurance.

Members are still required to pay for all healthcare services but will receive discounted rates on many services only at our participating CareNow® and MD Now® urgent care locations for one simple, low monthly fee.

SaveNow Membership pricing:

• $20 monthly fee (per family, including up to 6 members)
• $20 one-time enrollment fee (per individual)
• $20 visit fee per clinic visit
• $35 outside lab fee (if applicable)

If you have insurance that’s in-network with our urgent care clinics, you are not eligible to apply for SaveNow Membership.

The term “out-of-network” refers to healthcare providers not contracted with your insurance plan. To qualify for SaveNow Membership, you must either be uninsured or have an out-of-network insurance plan. Each individual should confirm whether their insurance is out-of-network before joining SaveNow Membership. Membership discounts cannot be combined with any insurance benefits.

Review the list of accepted insurance in all CareNow markets here. If you reside in Florida, here’s a list of the accepted insurances within our MD Now locations.

Your discounted $20 visit fee covers most urgent care visit services at participating CareNow and MD Now urgent care locations. The only additional cost at time of service is $35 per outside lab test (if needed).

Additional no-cost annual services, per individual:

• Flu shot
• Sports or school physical with baseline concussion testing

With SaveNow Membership, all participants will receive discounted rates for services and treatments:

• Cold and flu symptoms
• Sinus and upper respiratory infections
• Strep throat
• Urinary tract infections
• STD testing and treatment
• Allergies
• Covid-19 and flu testing
• Ear infections
• Minor injuries
• Stitches
• X-ray
• Splinting, management of sprains and fractures
• Cuts, scrapes, stings, bites and minor burns
• EKG
• Lab testing
• Virtual visits
• And more

Your SaveNow Membership becomes active immediately after enrollment and payment of both:

• The one-time enrollment fee
• The first monthly fee

You’ll pay your $20 visit fee at the time of service.

If you cancel your SaveNow Membership within your first 30 days after purchasing it and completing an urgent care visit:

• You will not receive a refund for the one-time enrollment(s) fee.
• Your $20 visit fee will be refunded
• You will be re-billed for your visit at the regular self-pay rate of $180 or higher. Please see our self-pay pricing menu for details.

SaveNow Membership is available to self-pay patients or those not covered by an insurance plan in which CareNow or MD Now are an in-network provider.

You are not eligible if you are covered by:

• Private commercial insurance plans where CareNow or MD Now are in-network
• Government programs such as Medicare, Medicaid or CHAMPUS

To receive discount pricing, you must:

1. Apply and accept as a member
2. Agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined in the membership application
3. Maintain an active membership in good standing (fees up to date)

Each SaveNow Membership can include up to six people living in the same household:

• Two adults (the primary member and one adult dependent)
• Four minors (under 18)

If your household has more than six members, you’ll need to purchase a second membership. The two plans will function as a single membership structure, allowing a total of four adults and eight minors. For example, an additional adult and another child can be added under a second plan. All members can be managed together under the original membership account through your SaveNow Membership portal.

When a minor turns 18, they can either transition to their own adult membership or remain on the family plan if an adult dependent slot is available. If there is only one adult currently listed on the membership, the newly turned 18-year-old may be added as the second adult on the plan as an adult dependent. If adding them would result in more than two adults on the membership, the family will need to upgrade to an expanded SaveNow Membership to remain compliant with plan rules.

You can sign up:

• In person at any participating clinic, or
• Online using the link provided in SaveNow Membership materials to locate your nearest clinic and begin enrollment

Billing is handled securely through our third-party payment processor.

You’ll be charged:

• $20 one-time enrollment fee, per individual
• $20 monthly recurring fee, per family

Billing is automatically processed on the same day each month.

If a payment fails, our third-party payment processor will change the status of your account to inactive. To return your account to active status, you must pay all outstanding balances before receiving services.

We accept payments made through banks and financial institutions, as well as debit and credit cards. We do not accept cash or checks.

You can cancel your 12-month contract anytime through your SaveNow Membership online portal by selecting the cancellation option. Monthly charges will stop at the end of your current billing cycle. If you return later, members and their dependents will be required to pay the one-time enrollment fee again.

Once canceled, you’ll lose access to discounted pricing, and any unpaid visit or lab fees will remain your responsibility. Your SaveNow Membership will switch to inactive status, and future visits will be billed at standard self-pay rates.

SaveNow Membership is only available in select states. If you move, check with your nearest CareNow or MD Now clinic to see if SaveNow Membership is available in your new area. If SaveNow Membership is not available in your area, it is your responsibility to cancel your membership. You can cancel your 12-month contract anytime through your SaveNow Membership online portal by selecting the cancellation option. Monthly charges will stop at the end of your current billing cycle. If you return later, members and their dependents will be required to pay the one-time enrollment fee again.

No paperwork is needed. CareNow or MD Now clinic staff can verify your SaveNow Membership in their system. Simply bring your photo ID and be prepared to pay the $20 visit fee.

Log in to your SaveNow Membership portal to view your membership dashboard, which clearly shows your active or inactive status.

Members must verify dependent information twice during setup to prevent errors. Any newly added or replaced dependent will incur a one-time enrollment fee. After enrollment, dependent details (name, gender and date of birth) cannot be changed without paying an additional one-time enrollment fee.

Your SaveNow Membership is a 12-month contract that auto-renews monthly at month 13+ until cancelled.  Although you signed a 12-month contract upon enrollment, you may cancel at any time.

If you cancel after month 12, you will have access until the end of your current billing cycle with no refunds to the monthly fee or enrollment fee. Re-bills for visits will not occur. If you seek care the day after your billing cycle ends, the self-pay rate will apply.  

If you cancel and later re-enroll, you and any dependents will be required to pay the enrollment fee again.
